Enhancing the limit of detection of biosensors through photoelectrochemistry
(Postdoctoral fellow and PhD Student)
This project is focused on using the advancements in the area of plasmonics to develop biosensors that are optically excited and electrochemically investigated. This strategy is expected to lead to a new class of ultrasensitive biosensors for healthcare applications.

Applicants for this position must have previous experience in these areas: photoelectrochemistry, plasmonics, semiconductor physics. Experience in biosensing will be a plus.

Universal sensing of biological analytes
(PhD and Masters students)
This project is focused on using molecular translators to detect different analytes on a single multiplexed biosensing chip. The outcome of this project is to detect multiple classes of analytes (proteins, nucleic acids, etc.) from a single sample on a single chip for clinical diagnostics.
